In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.**Overview of the Role**The role will lead the product development, lifecycle management, and performance optimization of the retail bank’s deposit product portfolio, including transactional accounts, fixed deposits, and bundled offerings. This role is responsible for driving innovation, customer-centric design, and profitability across all deposit products, while ensuring compliance and alignment with local regulation and Group requirements.**Job Responsibilities*** **Product Lead:**
+ Define and execute the deposit product strategy to drive growth, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability.
+ Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance product competitiveness and market relevance.* **Product Development & Management:**
+ Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of deposit products, from ideation and design to launch and ongoing optimization.
+ Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for enhancement.* **Market & Customer Insights:**
+ Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer behavior to inform product plan.
+ Champion customer-centric design and innovation in product features and pricing.* **Financial Performance:**
+ Manage product P&L, pricing strategies, and portfolio profitability.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth and risk-adjusted returns.* **Regulatory & Risk Compliance:**
+ Ensure all deposit products comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies.
+ Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to manage product governance.* **Stakeholder Engagement:**
+ Work closely with Marketing, Segments, Operations, Technology, Branches, and Data Analytics teams to deliver seamless product experience.
+ Present product plan and performance updates to senior leadership and executive committees.**Job Requirements*** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.* Minimum 10 years of experience in retail banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in product management.* Proven track record in managing deposit products and driving business results.* Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.* Deep understanding of regulatory environment and risk management in banking.## **Additional Requirements**Be a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
