Position Summary:

The Credit Analyst will support the credit assessment and ongoing monitoring of multinational corporate and Real Estate clients. This role involves collaborating with a global network of commercial teams to support U.S. and Asian multinationals, and supporting the corporate lending and real estate lending transactions originated in the US. It offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to develop into future Corporate and/or Real Estate Banking Relationship Managers, while gaining strong technical credit fundamentals and a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s network. The candidate will gain unique exposure across various corporate sectors, including TMT, Industrial, and Consumer, as well as Commercial, Multifamily, Industrial and Hospitality Real Estate Portfolios.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operational and transactional activities, as well as portfolio management, ensuring timely and accurate completion of the following:

Annual Reviews: Serve as the primary author of credit submission packages, including preparation of financial models and projections using MS Excel and ARGUS.

Construction Draws (Real Estate Portfolio): Review draw requests and coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain final approvals.

Credit Amendments: Act as the primary author of credit memoranda for amendments and liaise with relevant internal stakeholders through to approval.

Annual Desktop Appraisals (Real Estate Portfolio): Prepare appraisals and coordinate internal review and approval processes.

Covenant Monitoring: Monitor compliance with financial and non-financial covenants, proactively identifying and escalating breaches or early risk indicators.

Loan Maturity Management: Track and manage documentation and approval requirements related to loan maturity conditions.

Maintain a strong understanding of the loan origination and due diligence processes, including third-party reports and legal documentation.

Provide ad hoc analytical and operational support to the Head of Credit Analysts and Senior Relationship Manager, as required.

Client Relationship Support:

Track client wallet shares and transaction pipeline, identifying opportunities for cross-selling.

Partner with regional bankers and product managers to support origination of new transactions and drive up-sell and cross-sell initiatives.

Attend client meetings and support client communications

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

1–5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, banking, or risk management.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and credit risk.

Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment; with the ability to work across functions and geographies.

Detail-oriented and well-organized with strong writing and communication skills; ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
