Marketing Specialist / Proposal Writer
Unleash Your Joy! Felsburg Holt and Ullevig (FHU) is looking for a Marketing Specialist / Proposal Writer to join our Marketing and Creative Communications (MC2) group. This position plays a central role in leading and producing competitive proposals and qualifications packages for our Great Plains Region, supporting offices in Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota. Join a tight-knit team of Marketing, Graphics and Communication professionals promoting the good things FHU is doing for employees, clients, and communities. Together we work with leadership and technical experts to increase firm awareness, differentiate FHU's brand, and drive business development. While this role contributes to broader regional marketing initiatives, the primary focus is guiding and coordinating proposal efforts from kickoff through final delivery. A successful marketer in this role is creative and collaborative, adaptable in the face of deadlines, and brings a positive, healthy work ethic. Each workday brings new assignments and the opportunity to flex a wide variety of marketing skills. Key Duties Lead the development, coordination, and production of competitive proposals, qualifications, and client presentations, including message strategy, document layout, and schedule management Collaborate with leadership and technical staff to develop clear, compelling, and compliant proposal content Generate local content for FHU's digital marketing efforts, including social media channels and company website Update company Client Relationship Management (CRM) database and Digital Asset Management (DAM) with project, client, and pursuit information Plan and support marketing events, campaigns, conferences, and outreach activities Be part of a unified team where each person is working toward shared goals, growing professionally, and contributing to something worthwhile
