Client Intake & Sales Support Coordinator — On-site (Naperville, IL)
Happy Roofing is hiring one person to own the “front door” of our business.
Every new homeowner inquiry starts with you. You will set the tone, lead the first conversation, and ensure every opportunity is handled professionally and consistently from day one.
This role directly impacts revenue by improving appointment quality, follow-up consistency, and overall close rates.
As we grow, the long-term vision is for this position to evolve into a more focused inside sales role with greater responsibility and earning potential.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of conversations and understands that the first few minutes of a conversation can build lasting trust with a homeowner.
What you’ll do
Answer inbound calls and respond quickly to new inquiries (phone, text, email, web leads)
Lead intake conversations — ask strong qualifying questions, build trust, and create a great first impression
Schedule and confirm appointments while reducing no-shows
Set clear expectations and guide homeowners through early next steps
Maintain clean, accurate HubSpot records with detailed notes and follow-up tasks
Follow up consistently after appointments to revive opportunities and move decisions forward

Inbound calls answered live and quickly
Appointments booked with prepared, right-fit homeowners
Consistent follow‑up that revives opportunities others would lose
Clean, up-to-date HubSpot records with clear next steps
Homeowners who feel informed, confident, and well taken care of from first call to signed agreement

Compensation
Base pay: $20–$25/hour (depending on experience)
Plus commission: 2.5% on full roof replacement projects
Compensation is a mix of steady base pay and performance commission—base provides stability, and commission rewards results during busier seasons. We’ll walk through realistic earning scenarios during the interview process.
Example: a typical $18,000 roof replacement = $450 commission at 2.5%.
Growth Path This role will start as a hybrid position that combines client intake, CRM organization, follow-up, and sales support. As the company grows and systems strengthen, the long-term vision is for this position to evolve into a more focused inside sales role with increased revenue responsibility and earning potential.
