Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action is seeking a Digital Communications Intern to help build a spiritually rooted Jewish climate movement through multimedia storytelling.
The central responsibilities of the role are to execute creative strategies to engage, cultivate, and grow Dayenu’s audiences across all digital platforms, with a heavy emphasis on developing video content to build out new channels (especially TikTok).

Responsibilities
Develop short‑form vertical videos for sharing on social media platforms
Develop and execute plan to establish Dayenu’s presence on TikTok
Work with communications team to develop a steady stream of professional, strategic, and engaging posts on all social media platforms
Track and engage with our social media audience
Create graphics for social media using Canva and other graphic design tools
Help cultivate Dayenu’s unique voice in the Jewish community, the climate justice movement, and beyond
Assist with other digital communications tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Experience developing digital content for various social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), especially short‑form vertical videos.
Strong video editing skills (e.g., trimming, captioning, adding motion text, transitions) using tools such as Adobe Premiere and Canva Video.
Experience managing or creating social media content for popular social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn).
Experience as staff or volunteer leader in progressive political work, organizing, and/or campaigns.
Excitement about experimenting with new digital tools, strategies, and sharpening skills in existing tools.
Enthusiasm for devising ideas for compelling content, and an understanding of how to tailor tone, visuals, and calls to action for different audiences and channels.
A track record of working with people across lines of difference, engaging with diverse communities, and a commitment to anti‑racist practice.
Enthusiasm for working closely with a small, spirited team in a start‑up organization.
Knowledge of Jewish communities and traditions, and/or climate movement helpful but not required.
