POSITION SUMMARY: This position is based out of Montvale, NJ and we do not offer relocation at this time.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Strategic Marketing Intern to support our Director of Strategic Marketing. This role offers ownership and hands‑on experience across marketing strategy, analytics, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have baseline experience with marketing, strategy, and business fundamentals, with a willingness to learn and grow into a strategic/commercial marketing career path.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Market intelligence dashboard for senior leadership presentations (analytics/storytelling)
Strategic selling story development, including claims methodology/survey design (marketing strategy/analytics/commercial excellence)
New product market sizing model (innovation/marketing strategy/analytics
Digital marketing pilot program design (brand strategy/digital marketing).
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Strategy, Business, with demonstrable understanding of marketing analytics, strategy, branding, and digital marketing.
Alignment with Balchem core values.
Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok).
Basic understanding of CRM / email marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics) is a plus.
Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and performance reports.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and projects
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with an owner’s mindset
Strategic and creative mindset paired with analytical thinking
Team player with strong collaboration skills
