With its wide fairways and extensive lake system, our par 72, 6,722-yard course provides a challenging but fair test for both the high and low handicapper. Twin Isles has a very active golfing membership, featuring men's and ladies' leagues, tournaments, twilight mixers, and 9 and 18 Hole Ladies' Clubs. It is very easy for new members to join games and form new friendships. The Head Golf Professional directs all golf staff to provide exceptional customer service and create a superior product to meet all projected financial targets. Strive for the highest standards to provide a 4‑Star experience. Implement solid business strategies and efficiencies to guide the operation in a successful direction. Responsible for day‑to‑day management of golf operations, maintaining quality levels, standards, and traditions, and ensuring a superior golf experience for members and guests. Experience Required
2‑4 years direct experience as Head Golf Professional (or similar). Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Class‑A PGA Certification required. Essential Responsibilities
Handles day‑to‑day management of golf operations to ensure all quality levels, standards, and traditions are maintained. Oversees the daily golf experience such as speed of play, conditions, levels of service, maintenance, and cleanliness of the golf operations facility and course. Works with Golf Course Superintendent to schedule maintenance for optimum playing conditions. Forecasts rounds, revenues, and gross operating revenue on a weekly and monthly basis. Orchestrates merchandising program, including retail sales, shop appearance, ordering, inventory control, and buying plans. Prepares and manages operating budget. Fills in for General Manager/Director of Golf in their absence. Plans yearly tournament schedules and coordinates events. Develops relationships among customer base by being visible at all times. Provides leadership to Assistant Golf Professionals. Takes golf reservations. Prepares weekly work schedules and ensures proper staffing. Coordinates all hiring for Golf Operations and performs reviews. Counsels and disciplines staff per Pinnacle HR Group policies. Provides instruction to all player levels. Maintains playing ability to represent the facility and Pinnacle HR Group. Attends PGA seminars, workshops, and merchandise shows for self‑improvement. Maintains professional image and appearance. Oversees car maintenance program for safe and clean vehicles. Oversees daily staffing for forecasted rounds. Protects and maintains all company assets. Promotes the facility and Pinnacle HR Group through media and professional organizations. Develops safety programs for Golf Operations employees.
