We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our Flooring and Cabinet division. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information, materials, and schedules between sales, vendors, installers, and clients to ensure that projects are completed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking and has a strong understanding of Flooring and Cabinets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and manage the production schedule for all window covering projects from order entry through installation.

Place, track, and confirm product orders with vendors and manufacturers.

Verify purchase orders for accuracy, lead times, and pricing.

Manage logistics for product deliveries, warehouse inventory, and job site readiness.

Work closely with the sales team, designers, and installers to communicate project timelines, product specifications, and changes.

Maintain accurate project files and update internal databases with real-time status changes.

Assist in scheduling measurements, installations, and service appointments.

Ensure quality control by verifying that all products meet specifications before delivery and installation.

Resolve production issues such as backorders, damages, or discrepancies by working with vendors and internal teams.

Communicate proactively with clients to update them on project timelines and any potential delays.

Support continuous process improvements for production workflow and customer satisfaction.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 2+ years of experience in production coordination, project coordination, or operations (experience in flooring, cabinets, interior design, or construction industries preferred).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM or project management software.

Professional, customer-first attitude.

Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to work in extreme temperatures.

Must possess the ability to stand for long periods of time; to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 25 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
