Role Description Mothers to Daughters is seeking a Marketing Director to oversee the organization’s marketing and communications efforts. This volunteer role will guide the strategy and coordination of our social media presence, newsletters, and overall messaging to help grow awareness of the Mothers to Daughters mission and community.
The Marketing Director will help ensure that communications across platforms are consistent, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s goals. This role will work closely with the social media team, PR/Communications lead, and leadership to coordinate campaigns, highlight programs and events, and strengthen the organization’s public presence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the organization’s marketing and communications strategy
Guide and coordinate the work of the social media and communications volunteers
Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across platforms
Plan and support campaigns that promote programs, events, and key initiatives
Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to grow awareness of the organization
Help establish simple systems for planning and organizing marketing content
Qualifications
Experience or interest in marketing, communications, or digital media
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Ability to think strategically about messaging and audience engagement
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a volunteer team
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing social media or marketing campaigns
Experience coordinating creative or communications teams
Interest in women’s leadership, mentorship, and community building
