Your Mission Act as an internal strategic consultancy to the company’s most senior leaders by structuring, analyzing, and answering high‑level, long‑term strategic questions that shape the future of the Group. The Strategic Analyst transforms executive‑level questions into robust, fact‑based strategic recommendations by mobilizing transverse expertise, integrating financial and competitive insights, and maintaining a strong global and long‑term perspective. We exist to provide a broad, unbiased, and fact‑based perspective that challenges the status quo and guides the Group on complex, strategic questions Our role is to mobilize long‑term thinking, uncover blind spots, and deliver actionable insights that inspire change and strengthen resilience.
Key responsibilities
Receive and clarify high‑level strategic questions from senior leadership.
Structure complex, open‑ended problems into clear analytical frameworks.
Organize and animate transverse teams of experts to address strategic topics.
Deliver integrated, long‑term strategic answers rather than short‑term solutions.
Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on major strategic issues.
Strategic & Competitive Analysis
Perform competitor analysis to assess relative positioning, strategic moves, and long‑term risks and opportunities.
Develop forward‑looking scenarios and strategic options with a global perspective.
Identify key strategic trade‑offs and implications for the Group.
Financial & Business Acumen
Perform financial analyses supporting strategic decision‑making (value creation, business cases, portfolio choices).
Connect strategic choices to financial performance and capital allocation.
Assess long‑term economic robustness of strategic options.
Translate financial insights into clear recommendations for non‑financial audiences.
Organizational & Performance Analysis
Analyze organizational and business performance across entities, geography, or activities.
Identify structural drivers of performance and long‑term improvement levers.
Support executive reviews with synthesized, decision‑oriented insights.
Contribute to the definition and monitoring of strategic performance indicators.
Sustainable Finance & Long‑Term Value
Integrate sustainability and ESG considerations into strategic and financial analyses.
Support alignment between strategy, financial performance, and sustainability ambitions.
Bring a long‑term perspective on risk, resilience, and responsible growth.
Influence, Communication & Global Mindset
Prepare high‑quality materials for executive committees and senior leadership.
Communicate complex analyses clearly, concisely, and convincingly.
Influence decisions through rigorous, fact‑based reasoning.
Operate with a strong global mindset, considering regional diversity and global interdependencies.
Prerequisites
Higher education in strategy, finance, economics, engineering, or equivalent.
Proven experience in strategy, consulting, finance roles.
Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems and synthesize complex information.
Experience working in international and cross‑functional environments.
Fluent English (C1): additional languages are a plus.
