Apex is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join their team in the Lehigh Valley area. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, face-to-face sales environment and enjoys building strong partnerships with local businesses.
The Business Development Representative will focus on territory-based B2B sales, identifying new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients. This role works closely with internal recruitment teams to deliver customized staffing solutions to clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Lehigh Valley market
Conduct direct, in-person prospecting and outreach to decision-makers
Develop and execute territory-based sales strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts
Collaborate with recruitment teams to deliver effective staffing solutions
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends
Attend networking events and local business functions to expand market presence
Prepare sales reports, track pipeline activity, and maintain CRM records
Negotiate contracts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Qualifications
2.5–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management
Strong skills in lead generation, networking, and market research
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with recruitment teams
Experience using CRM software and sales tracking tools
Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Prior experience in the staffing or recruiting industry is a plus
Full-time on-site role in Easton, PA
Local travel only within the Lehigh Valley area (approximately 25–30 mile radius)
