The Opportunity As a Compliance Specialist at Vitra Health, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Compliance Department by helping maintain regulatory and accreditation standards across the organization. You will assist with compliance training coordination, internal audits, regulatory reporting, and risk management activities.
This role plays a key part in promoting a culture of compliance by ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and effective follow‑through on compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with confidential information.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and track mandatory compliance training programs for employees, contractors, and vendors.
Ensure timely assignment and completion of required training modules.
Maintain training records and assist in developing or updating training materials.
Assist in conducting compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate regulatory or operational risks.
Collect and organize risk‑related data and track mitigation activities.
Support the development and monitoring of the Annual Compliance Work Plan.
Assist with NCQA survey readiness efforts and documentation preparation.
Maintain documentation and evidence required to meet NCQA standards.
Support cross‑functional teams in preparing for audits and responding to surveyor requests.
Support the Compliance Officer in managing Compliance Committee activities.
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
Track action items and coordinate follow‑ups from Compliance Committee meetings.
Track and assist with preparing external compliance reports to regulators, payers, and accreditation bodies.
Assist with internal audits, reviews, and compliance investigations.
Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
Track and assist in investigating compliance issues, complaints, and incidents.
Monitor regulatory updates and assist in communicating changes internally.
Provide administrative and project support to the Compliance Department including data tracking and reporting.
Foster a culture of customer service and commitment to quality care.
Serve as a brand ambassador for Vitra reflecting our mission, vision, and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role required.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, CMS, NCQA, and OIG guidelines strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with learning management systems (LMS), compliance tracking tools, or risk management platforms preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
Physical and Environmental Demands Works in a clean, well‑lit environment with fluctuating temperatures and close proximity to others. Requires substantial periods of computer use. Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment up to 35 pounds. Requires walking, standing, and frequent sitting for the majority of the workday. Requires the ability to navigate stairs and operate equipment with visual acuity and manual dexterity.
