
Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an ambitious and detail‑oriented Inside Sales Representative to support a growing manufacturing organization. This entry‑level role serves as a vital link between sales, production, and logistics—ensuring customer requirements are met with accuracy, speed, and professionalism. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast‑paced industrial environment.
What You’ll Do Assist sales leadership with presentations, customer insights, and account coordination. Create customer‑specific goals and identify new opportunities or challenges. Serve as an internal point of contact for assigned customers. Manage RFQs, specification reviews, and customer requests through the internal request workflow. Maintain and update customer action reports.
Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities Prepare weekly and monthly sales and account reports. Provide backup support to sales administration, as needed. Submit a monthly summary of account activity and project updates.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with logistics teams on inventory levels, shipping needs, and customer forecasts. Assist production teams with usage fluctuations and forecast changes. Work within customer web portals for updates, uploads, and data entry. Monitor market conditions that may impact customer segments or competitors. Communicate with leadership regarding cost impacts or profit‑affecting issues. Support preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Manage assigned projects and provide weekly status updates.
General Maintain awareness of applicable quality, environmental, and safety standards. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
What You Bring Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑moving setting. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel. Customer‑focused mindset with strong teamwork abilities. Strong problem‑solving, prioritization, and critical‑thinking skills. Consistent accuracy and reliability. Flexibility, adaptability, and accountability. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outside sales or customer‑facing role.
