Leading Edges of Mississippi is looking for a talented Graphic Designer who cares deeply about strong design, innovative ideas and great visual communication. We’re a marketing and branding agency based in Meridian, Mississippi that partners with organizations across a variety of industries to build brands, campaigns and creative work that makes an impact.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving problems visually, contributing ideas, and bringing concepts to life across multiple platforms. You’ll work alongside strategists, copywriters, and creative leadership to create thoughtful design solutions that help our clients stand out.

What You'll Do Design & Creative Development

Design visual assets for digital and print campaigns including advertisements, brochures, banners, social media graphics and promotional materials

Develop brand identity elements including logos, typography systems, color palettes and visual guidelines

Create marketing materials such as presentations, trade show graphics and branded collateral

Produce digital assets including website graphics, landing pages and campaign visuals

Work closely with accounts, copywriters and our creative director to translate strategy and client goals into strong visual solutions

Contribute ideas during creative brainstorming and concept development

Present design concepts internally and occasionally to clients

Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines

Craft & Execution

Prepare production-ready files for print and digital delivery

Maintain organized design files and brand standards across projects

Collaborate with printers, vendors and production partners when needed

Stay current with design trends, tools and best practices

What We're Looking For Required

2–4 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within an agency, marketing team or creative studio

Strong portfolio demonstrating brand work, campaign design and thoughtful visual problem solving

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Understanding of print production and digital design standards

Preferred

Experience with motion graphics, video editing or web design

Familiarity with Figma, After Effects or other modern design tools

Experience designing across multiple brands or industries

Portfolio Requirements A portfolio is required to be considered for this position. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed.

Your portfolio should demonstrate:

Strong typography and layout skills

Brand identity or campaign work that shows creative thinking

A clear understanding of design fundamentals and visual communication

We’re especially interested in seeing work that shows how you approach ideas and solve problems visually, not just finished graphics.
