Role Overview As an STR Inside Sales Associate, you will expand our reach in emerging markets by identifying new opportunities, establishing relationships with hotel owners and operators, and delivering benchmarking analytics and market insights to support their business decisions. You will operate from the office and utilize telephone, email, and virtual meetings to engage with potential and current clients. Your responsibilities include expanding our customer base, ensuring client satisfaction, and facilitating renewals within these essential segments.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct proactive research to identify and engage potential customers within market segments.
Learn and communicate the value of our solutions tailored for clients.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demonstrations (virtually), closing, and renewals.
Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage product usage.
Accurately track all activities and client information in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed sales and activity targets.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university.
2+ years of inside sales or related experience.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
Proven ability to make a high volume of outbound calls daily, including cold calling and following up on leads.
Skilled at quickly building rapport and trust with prospects over the phone or email.
Effective at qualifying leads, asking discovery questions, and identifying customer needs in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment.
Motivation to learn sales fundamentals and grow in a sales career.
Comfortable with heavy phone and virtual outreach; no travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish – both written and verbal.
Prior success in high-volume calling environments strongly preferred.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
Prior customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
