Role Description The Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory. The Sales Engineer will sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.

Primary Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with the telecommunications market.

Communicating with customers leads to identifying and understand their product or service needs.

Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.

Promote and sell fiber optic and copper telecom solutions to business, contractors, and service providers.

Conduct in-person sales meetings, product presentations, and site visits with prospective clients.

Maintain an active sales pipeline and forecast opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of outside sales experience in the telecommunications industry.

Proven experience selling fiber optic and copper network solutions.

Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure and connectivity solutions.

Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Effective cross-functional communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.

Relevant industry certifications or technical training in fiber optics, telecommunications.

Familiarity with fiber network deployment and telecom carriers.

Strong understanding of fiber optics infrastructure, structured cabling and copper solutions.

Equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience will also be considered.
