
Account Executive

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our growing IT Staffing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and partnering with our recruiting team to deliver top-tier technology talent to clients across a wide range of industries. This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and is passionate about connecting businesses with exceptional IT professionals.
Key Responsibilties:
Prospect, identify, and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events. Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments. Conduct discovery calls and in-person meetings to understand clients' IT staffing needs, project scopes, and hiring challenges. Present tailored staffing solutions and negotiate contracts, bill rates, and service agreements. Partner closely with recruiters to ensure timely delivery of qualified candidates that meet client requirements. Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities. Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets and KPIs. Accurately manage all activity, opportunities, and account data in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Bullhorn). Stay current on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive staffing landscape. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions. Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management — preferably in staffing, recruiting, or IT services. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and workforce trends (e.g., software development, cybersecurity, cloud, data engineering). Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a consultative sales approach. Proficiency with CRM platforms and standard sales tools. Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement staffing solutions. Existing network of IT hiring managers, procurement professionals, or HR contacts. Familiarity with staffing industry compliance and contract structures (SLAs, MSAs, SOWs). Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools.
