
Loan Insurance Servicing Representative

Responsibilities
Update incoming homeowner insurance renewal bills and changes in insurance carriers
Pay homeowners insurance premiums from escrow accounts
Follow up with customers with cancelled homeowners' insurance policies to obtain renewals
Place cancelled homeowners' insurance customers on Proctor Insurance/Issues letters/Pays Proctor Bill
Set up new loans with PMI and pay monthly PMI premiums from escrow accounts
Review monthly PMI report for loan accounts reaching PMI termination status and remove PMI requirements for loans meeting bank standards
Prepare and mail PMI notifications to borrowers
Prepare and submit requests for PMI removal
Cancel PMI coverage for paid off loans
Review escrow accounts as they are set up for new loans
Gather and process required documentation related to homeowners' insurance claims
Handle loan servicing inquiries from customers
Correct loan payment application errors
Serve as a backup for the Loan Escrow Servicing Representative
File loan documentation in individual loan files (physical and electronic)
Assist with audit of electronic loan files
Order department supplies
Make recommendations to the Manager to improve efficiency and effectiveness of department
Assist in department where needed
Assist with mail distribution and receptionist coverage as needed
Responsible to the Loan Administration Manager for the fulfillment of duties
Has customer contact & handles loan servicing inquiries from customers
Has contact with business' relating to the Bank and is to conduct these relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank
May be called upon from time to time to participate in Bank and community events
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Comfortable and proficient working with numbers
Computer/systems aptitude and ability; proficient with department software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Strong communication, customer service and organization skills
Operate standard business office equipment (computer, calculator, telephone, multifunction machine)
Converse professionally with internal and external customers via telephone, e-mail and written correspondence. All communication is guided by HB Customer Service Standards
Adhere to all compliance procedures for regulatory requirements including BSA and OFAC and complete all required training
Adhere to established Bank polices including the HB Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
