# Post-Production Intern## •### @freshtapemediaPosted on 3/10/2026•Intern## Job DescriptionThe Post-Production Intern supports our post production team in the day-to-day execution of editing, color, audio, and delivery workflows across a range of social-first and branded content projects. This is a hands-on, paid summer internship for someone early in their career who is passionate about storytelling, visual media, and the craft of post production.The ideal candidate will work closely with the post production team and editors to assist in organizing projects, preparing assets, and contributing to the finishing process. Gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced, in-person production environment at our Denver office.**Responsibilities***Post Production*1. Own and edit a select number of projects with support from the Post Production Team including but not limited to short-form video, vertical content, and cutdowns2. Assist with media ingestion, file organization, and project setup3. Supports the Post Production Team through timeline organization, sequence prep, editing, and maintaining pristine project files4. Source and pull relevant footage from internal libraries, stock platforms, and archival assets to support ongoing editorial projects5. Organize footage from the company's Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Media Asset Management (MAM) systems, ensuring the assets are accessible and properly labeled6. Help maintain organized folder structures, naming conventions, and asset libraries across active projects7. Support export and delivery of final content across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and accompanying caption files8. Assist with syncing audio, pulling selects, and assembling rough cuts under editor supervision9. Help manage storage, archiving, and project handoffs at the conclusion of productions*Workflow & Operations*1. Learn and follow Fresh Tape Media's internal post production workflows and quality standards2. Assist in tracking project statuses, deadlines, and deliverable lists across active edits3. Support the team in preparing assets for color correction, graphics, and audio finishing4. Help identify and flag technical issues with files, exports, or project media*Collaboration & Learning*1. Participate in team reviews, creative discussions, and post production walkthroughs2. Shadow editors and senior team members to build foundational production knowledge3. Contribute ideas and observations in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment4. Engage with evolving platform trends and content formats relevant to social-first production**Basic Qualifications***Technical*1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field2. Foundational knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro3. Experience with After Effects or DaVinci Resolve is a plus4. Basic understanding of video formats, frame rates, codecs, and export settings5. Understanding of social media specs, margins, and trends6. Familiarity with post production workflows and social media content formats7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing digital files and assets*Professional & Personal*1. Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions in a fast-paced environment2. Strong communication and collaboration skills across creative and production teams3. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines4. Self-motivated with a genuine interest in content creation, storytelling, and the post production craft5.
