If you’re passionate about video editing, post-production, or visual storytelling, the Post-Production & Editing Internship at Phoenix Films G.K. offers hands-on experience inside a professional Tokyo-based film and media studio. Working with both Japanese and international clients, this role gives you practical exposure to how creative content moves from raw footage to polished final delivery in a fast-paced production environment. As a Post-Production & Editing Intern, you’ll assist Phoenix Films’ editorial team with video editing, color correction, and post-production workflows. You’ll collaborate with directors and producers to refine content for commercials, short films, and digital media projects. This internship focuses on: Professional editing workflows Color correction and basic sound design Media organization and delivery standards During this internship, you will: Edit raw footage for short films, commercials, and social content Assist with color correction, transitions, and sound syncing Organize media assets and manage project files efficiently Support subtitles, captions, and simple motion graphics creation Collaborate with directors and producers to refine final cuts These responsibilities reflect real-world post-production workflows used in professional studios. Skills You Will Gain

By the end of the internship, you will develop: Professional video editing and post-production skills Color grading and basic audio editing techniques Project organization and media asset management experience Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools

(Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) Understanding of production timelines and delivery standards These skills are essential for careers in video editing, film production, and digital media. This role is a strong fit if you: Are interested in video editing, filmmaking, or media production Are familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro Have a strong eye for detail and visual storytelling Communicate confidently in English (Japanese helpful but not required) Can work independently and collaborate with creative teams A demo reel or sample edits are a plus, but not required.
