Cullerton Group is seeking an Account Manager with a focus on the North American continent, based in the Greater Chicago Area.

The Account Manager is responsible for handling customer success activities and relationship management, building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers.

The role will be responsible for the activities described below:

Responsibilities

Be an liaison between prospects and our valued customers

Research potential prospects (incl. cold calling)

Acquire new prospective customers and sales partners

Provide a significant impact to winning customers and intensifying existing relationships

Maintain your sales funnel with a sufficient number of prospects in different sales maturity levels

Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be responsive to their real-time needs

Develop professional relationships with existing customers to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to address those needs

Present our products to prospects and customers

Prepare and execute demonstrations of the MES solution in web sessions and on site

Work effectively with global internal departments to acquire information to complete a proper solution proposal

Analyze the requirements of your customers to create a proposal using the correct product and service offering

Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations, etc.

Prepare and participate in negotiations and contract closings

Keep an eye on the market conditions and competitive situation

Stay current with new software releases and the impacts to customers and prospects

Maintain our CRM for your associated accounts, contacts and opportunities

Support and assist in preparing marketing activities like webinars, prospect event days, customer days, or tradeshows

Represent the company and our products at trade shows and similar events

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Sales & Marketing, Engineering, IT, Production Management)

Strong technical background with an excellent knowledge of software solutions.

5y+ professional experience with 3y+ experience in sales, preferably in enterprise or automation software. Professional experience with manufacturing environments

Alternative: 1-2y professional experience in manufacturing environment (scheduler, production manager, maintenance manager, etc.) having worked over several years with MES Systems and with a clear desire to change to a new role

High ability to motivate oneself in long term sales processes

Fluent in quickly assessing personalities and handling multi-stakeholder situations in meetings and negotiations

Experience with negotiations / contracts in sales / purchasing of investment goods / enterprise software

Excellent customer service acumen, presentation and writing skills

Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with little guidance

Ability to manage and prioritize tasks during various stages in the sales cycle

Professionalism in personality, appearance, and work results

Positive, creative and enthusiastic, you think quickly on your feet and adapt easily to change

Willing to travel

You live and work in the Greater Chicago area / USA.

Nice to have: second language like Spanish or French or Portuguese
