to join their growing organization. This position is a hybrid New York Metro-based role.

Salary range: $140,000-165,000

Your Role This role exists to ensure ATS’s technology investments directly support our people and our mission. The Director of Technology Projects will have the opportunity to shape how staff work, collaborate, and innovate—at a pivotal moment in ATS’s organizational evolution.

As a critical driver of ATS’s new strategic plan, the Director of Technology Projects will support efforts to standardize and streamline processes, enhance data and analytics capabilities, and leverage both existing and emerging technologies so teams can more effectively deliver against the mission, serving as a key partner to management to ensure technology functions as a force multiplier rather than a barrier.

The Director of Technology Projects at ATS will lead the strategy, implementation, and adoption of enterprise systems and emerging technologies across the organization, serving in a leadership role focused on modernizing ATS’s technology environment, enabling staff through effective training and change management, and unlocking the potential of AI to advance the mission. Serving as both a leader and active participant, this individual will directly oversee key initiatives and collaborate with external vendors on their execution. Routine IT support and cybersecurity operations are handled by a managed services provider, whom this role will supervise, while also being responsible for overall strategy, standards, outcomes, and adoption.

Key Responsibilities Enterprise Systems Strategy & Delivery

Create and own the roadmap for ATS’s enterprise systems, including collaboration, document management, and future core platforms. Drive the standardization of processes and tools across the organization and deliver key capabilities to better enable our teams and our mission.

Lead the consolidation and migration of ATS systems to Microsoft 365 and OneDrive and Monday.com, including decommissioning legacy tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox)

Project-manage major technology initiatives, partnering with ATS leadership, the Technion, systems integrators, and vendors. Establish and enforce technology standards, governance, metrics and best practices across ATS.

Identify, prioritize, and pilot AI use cases that improve productivity, service delivery, and staff effectiveness

Lead adoption of tools such as Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled platforms

With the MSP, develop governance, risk, and ethical guardrails for AI use, enabling responsible innovation

Translate AI concepts into practical workflows staff can use in their daily work

Assist with the development of AI agents that would enable staff to easily search and query scanned documents

Training, Adoption & Change Management

Design and deliver training programs to build digital and AI fluency across a workforce with mixed technical capability

Support staff through change by pairing technology rollouts with clear communication, training, and ongoing support

Act as a trusted advisor to teams navigating new tools and ways of working

Collaborate with leaders across the organization to best plan, design and implement technology rollouts, communications, and adoption within their teams.

Serve as a partner with regard reviewing data structure, integrity, governance and controls

Vendor, Budget & Partner Management

Own the IT and systems budget, including forecasting, prioritization, and cost optimization

Manage and own relationships with IT managed service providers, systems integrators, and software vendors

Evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms aligned with ATS’s strategy and capacity for change

Manage all aspects of data and document collection associated with an annual IT audit of processes

Help develop a more efficient flow of financial information and documentation to Technion

Security & Risk

Take ownership of the security, resiliency and reliability of ATS technology platforms. Ensuring appropriate controls and monitoring are in place and evolving these controls as required to keep pace with emerging threats

In partnership with ATS leadership, own and drive the implementation of a holistic approach to enterprise risk management (ERM), including the operationalization of key processes across the organization.

Ideal Candidate

Proven track record of partnering across multiple organizational levels to set, communicate, and deliver impactful change

Strong technology background across infrastructure, SaaS applications, AI, and cybersecurity, with the ability to translate capabilities into meaningful business impact

Demonstrated experience leading enterprise system implementations and technology transformations

Strong project management skills and ability to personally drive complex, cross‑functional initiatives

Extensive experience managing vendors and managed service providers

Success leading change, training users, and driving adoption

Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible, mission‑aligned solutions

Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor without direct reports

Strongly Preferred

Experience with Microsoft 365 environments and collaboration‑tool migrations

Exposure to AI enablement initiatives (e.g., strategy, pilots, governance, training) with a proven ability to drive adoption and deliver impactful implementation
