Corporate & Business Transactions - Life Sciences - Midlevel Associate
We are representing a premier Global 100 firm, in their search for a high-caliber Life Sciences Transactions Associate. This is a chance to join one of the world's most sophisticated Life Sciences practices, handling "front-page" deals for biotech pioneers, global pharmaceutical giants, and cutting-edge medical device companies.
Unlike general corporate roles, this position offers deep immersion into the science and strategy of the industry, focusing on the agreements that bring life-saving therapies to market.
The Work You will lead and support high-stakes transactions across the entire product lifecycle, including:
Strategic Alliances:
Drafting and negotiating complex collaboration and license agreements.
Operational Foundation:
Executing critical industry contracts including
CTAs, SRAs, MSAs, and MTAs .
Commercial Growth:
Handling supply agreements and sophisticated product purchase and sale agreements.
IP Protection:
Managing CDAs/NDAs to safeguard multi-billion dollar innovations.
Who You Are
The Private Practice Path:
You have 3–5 years of experience in a high-growth law firm environment specializing in life sciences or technology transactions.
The In-House Path:
You have 2+ years of experience as In-House Counsel within a Life Sciences company and are looking to return to a high-velocity, elite firm environment to specialize in complex transactions.
The Negotiator:
You possess a sophisticated understanding of IP licensing and a "business-first" approach to legal problem-solving.
Academic Excellence:
Strong JD credentials and a genuine passion for the intersection of law and biotechnology.
