Job Description
Draft, negotiate, and review intellectual property transaction agreements, particularly in the life sciences sector. Provide legal counsel on licensing, collaboration, and joint venture agreements. Conduct due diligence on intellectual property matters in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Work closely with clients to identify and address intellectual property risks and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support. Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in the life sciences and intellectual property fields. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Manage and mentor junior team members as needed. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York State Bar. Expertise in intellectual property transactions within the life sciences sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
