Founding Senior Account Executive, AWS and AI Solutions

Leapfrog Technology is an AWS Advanced Tier Partner and AI Competency Partner with deep expertise in cloud engineering, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions. We help companies design and build tailored software, AI-powered products, and cloud solutions.

We are hiring a Senior Account Executive to be our first dedicated salesperson for AWS/Cloud. This is a founding role for a builder: someone who can create pipelines, navigate complex services sales, work effectively with technical teams, and turn AWS relationships into real revenue.

You will play a central role in shaping our go-to-market motion, helping define repeatable sales plays, and driving growth across AI, AWS, and custom software services.

What You’ll Do

Build pipeline through AWS relationships, collaborative GTM campaigns, outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, partner collaboration, and disciplined follow-up

Help develop repeatable messaging, sales plays, and GTM motions for our evolving AI and AWS offerings

Partner closely with AWS Account Managers, Partner Sales Managers, and internal alliance leadership to generate and advance AWS-originated opportunities

Lead consultative discovery conversations with senior buyers to uncover business needs and translate them into tailored services engagements

Work with Leapfrog’s AI specialists, engagement managers, solution architects, and engineering leaders to shape solution direction and scope opportunities

Leverage AWS funding programs such as SCA (GenAI), MAP, POC, assessment workshops, and GenAI/Agentic-related programs to reduce friction and accelerate deal momentum

Manage complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles for custom software, cloud, data, and AI services

Maintain strong pipeline visibility

6+ years of successful experience in technology services sales, cloud consulting sales, or custom software sales

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding seven-figure quotas

Experience selling professional services (T&M, fixed, milestone), custom software, cloud solutions, or digital transformation engagements rather than only packaged SaaS products

Ability to drive complex deals involving multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and solution-based pricing

Strong understanding of AWS and the partner ecosystem, including co-sell motions and field collaboration

Ability to speak credibly about cloud, AI, modernization, and business value with both technical and executive buyers

Comfortable operating with autonomy in a high-accountability, high-ownership role

Preferred Experience

Experience selling into SMB and commercial accounts

Experience in Healthcare or Financial Services

Familiarity with GenAI, data platforms, application modernization, and cloud-native product development

Travel

Travel is expected up to 25%, based on business needs. Travel may include AWS partner meetings, industry conferences and events, customer onsite meetings, and occasional internal team gatherings. We view travel as strategic rather than routine—used where in-person presence can materially improve relationship building, discovery, or deal progression

Why This Role Is Different This is not a traditional AE role selling a fixed product with a large support structure around you. This is a high-impact founding role for someone who wants to help build the sales engine of a company with strong technical credibility, a differentiated AWS position, and deep experience delivering complex software and AI solutions.

Compensation

Base salary: $110,000–$160,000

On-target earnings (OTE): $220,000–$320,000

Commission: Uncapped, accelerators beyond quota

Quota-carrying role with performance tied to new revenue generation and closed business

Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision, PTO, 401K

Final compensation will depend on experience, track record, location, and market factors.
