Employee Benefits Account Manager
We’re partnering with a growing, client-focused employee benefits brokerage in Fort Lauderdale that is looking to add an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to their middle market team.
What You’ll Do
Manage and service a middle market book of business (primarily 50–500+ lives)
Act as the main day-to-day contact for clients, providing consultative support and proactive service
Oversee renewals, marketing, quoting, plan comparisons, and carrier negotiations
Support both self-funded, fully insured, and level-funded benefit programs
Lead open enrollments, employee education meetings, and implementation activities
Review contracts, proposals, and plan designs for accuracy and compliance
Resolve eligibility, claims, billing, and service issues efficiently
Partner with producers to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Stay current on compliance regulations and market trends
What We’re Looking For
Active Florida Life & Health License (required)
3+ years of employee benefits account management experience
Experience working with self-funded, fully insured, and level-funded plans
Strong renewal and marketing experience
Excellent client service and relationship-building skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in-office full time and collaborating with a team
