Position Summary
Under the leadership and direction of the Senior Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner supports and administers all core HR functions for the Mactac Minneapolis Plant. This role is responsible for implementing HR policies and programs, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and providing employees with timely information and guidance on HR‑related matters. The HR Business Partner conducts research and analysis to support statistics, projects, and strategic initiatives, and serves as a key resource for employee questions and HR support. In addition, this role administers and maintains all payroll functions to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The HR Business Partner also assists the Senior Human Resources Manager with additional HR duties and initiatives as needed.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with 5+ years of HR experience.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
Experience resolving complex employee relations issues is required.
Payroll experience preferred.
Talent acquisition experience preferred.
HRIS experience required.
Duties & Responsibilities HR Leadership & Operations
Responsible for all HR functions and processes for the Mactac Minneapolis Plant.
Completes plant payroll by reviewing UKG timecard information and reconciling discrepancies with accuracy and confidentiality.
Provides guidance to employees and stakeholders on all major benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, LTD, 401(k), workers' compensation, unemployment claims, HSAs, wellness programs, and employee activities.
Manages employee changes – transfers, job changes, promotions, demotions, terminations, pay increases – and ensures proper approvals are obtained.
Coordinates the open enrollment process and related communications or meetings.
Serves as a resource for employees and leaders, offering timely support on policies, procedures, employee relations concerns, and benefit clarification.
Partners with managers and supervisors on performance‑related matters, including coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, Individual Development Plans, investigations, discipline, and terminations.
Supports organizational and compensation changes, including job description reviews, job evaluations, and promotions.
Leads onboarding for all hourly positions, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and new‑hire orientation.
Champions wellness initiatives and serves as the primary wellness lead for the Minneapolis Plant.
Performs additional duties as identified with the Senior HR Manager and/or HR Business Partner group.
Training & Development (in partnership with the Senior Human Resources Manager)
Assists in identifying training and performance needs across departments.
Develops or supports the development of training materials, tools, and activities using various media.
Delivers training to individuals or departments as needed.
Supports HR Business Partners and cross‑functional teams in implementing training or performance improvement initiatives.
Maintains training records, evaluations, project plans, and related documentation.
Maintains strict confidentiality regarding talent, recruitment, and employee information.
Conducts research and analysis for strategic HR initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibility & Impact: This role is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of HR and payroll functions. Effective performance directly supports operational efficiency, employee engagement, and overall morale within the Minneapolis Plant.
Physical Requirements: Office environment where individual will spend a majority of their time in front of a computer.
Work Authorization: Legal authorization is required.
Relocation Eligibility: None
Travel: 5% or less
