Human Resources Business Partner , you will be a main point of contact for leadership to implement HR solutions to business issues and initiatives while leveraging various information sources to determine action and understand potential future implications. You will oversee and assist with the day-to-day delivery of HR services and the resolution of issues in partnership with organizational customers. You will be responsible for fostering positive relationships between leadership and employees by addressing concerns, investigating complaints, mediating conflicts, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance to both employees and leadership on company policies and procedures. What Else Will You Be Doing? Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to customers regarding employment issues, including employee relations functions Advise and coach management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity Provide coaching and support to managers to facilitate the positive resolution of employee situations, including performance improvement, corrective actions, terminations, appeal hearings, and unemployment claims Analyze employment-related complaints and conduct investigations to include establishing scope, recording witness statements, and generating detailed, comprehensive investigative findings reports Monitor and assist with the interpretation and enforcement of policies and procedures Support compensation compliance by consulting with compensation SME's, legal, and leadership; develop documentation in partnership with leadership to support position reclassification requests Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; identify resource needs and recommend improvements to enhance the employee experience Project work, including but not limited to: Development and delivery of training on HR related initiatives Program ownership and support to include mentoring initiatives, employee surveys, succession planning initiatives, apprenticeship programs, organizational changes/restructures Compliance initiatives to include CORA (Colorado Open Records Act) and audit responses Ownership and editing of policy documents, seeking guidance from SME's Facilitate FAIR Shake and Office Hearing appeal meetings, including preparation work as required Who You Are A candidate with a strong balance of analytical and problem-solving skills, who is able to: communicate complex ideas and demonstrate an ability to positively influence at all levels in the organization demonstrate competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions and recommendations partner with HR leadership and organizational leadership to navigate business concerns; partner with employees to navigate employee concerns; partner with other business partners and department SME's on project work and on customer concerns develop respectful and productive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries Additionally, you must offer experience, ideally at least 7 years, serving as a trusted advisor working in a Human Resources role as a Business Partner, Generalist, or Employee Relations Specialist. A bachelor's degree (or greater) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field, and a SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred.
