Partnerships Lead, Startups

Replit, Foster City, CA, United States

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation.

We're looking for a Startups Partnerships Lead to build and scale Replit's presence in the startup and SMB ecosystem. This is a high-impact, externally-facing role at the intersection of business development, community building, and product evangelism. You'll own the strategy for how Replit shows up for early-stage founders, startup studios, incubators, and accelerators and you'll close the partnerships that drive growth.

This role is ideal for someone who has lived the startup world, understands founder psychology, and knows how to build trust quickly with technical and non-technical builders alike.

What You'll Do

Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle for startups and SMBs, from prospecting and outreach to negotiation, close, and ongoing relationship management

Build and manage a portfolio of partnerships with accelerators, incubators, venture studios, and startup communities (YC, Techstars, On Deck, and similar)

Develop co-marketing and co-selling motions with ecosystem partners to drive Replit adoption among early-stage founders

Work closely with Product and Growth to surface startup-specific use cases and champion features that serve builders

Represent Replit at startup events, demo days, and founder communities — online and in-person

Design and execute programs that give startups meaningful access to Replit credits, tools, and community

Track and report on partnership performance metrics, ensuring relationships convert to measurable business impact

Collaborate with the broader Partnerships team on cross-functional initiatives across education, enterprise, and international expansion

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or sales, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech environment

Deep familiarity with the startup ecosystem: accelerators, angel networks, VC firms, and the communities where founders spend time

Proven ability to source, structure, and close strategic partnerships, not just manage them

Strong communicator who can adapt messaging for technical founders, non-technical operators, and institutional partners alike

Self-starter with a bias for action; comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build programs from scratch

Data-driven mindset, you measure what matters and use insights to iterate quickly

Genuine passion for the future of software creation and democratizing access to developer tools

Bonus Qualifications

Experience as a founder, or working directly inside an accelerator or VC firm

Background in developer tools, coding education, or SaaS platforms

Existing relationships in the startup ecosystem you'd bring to the role

Experience building or managing partner programs at scale
