This is driven by the requirement of the organisation to meet the changing needs of people with complex health or aged care needs and our employees within a growing geographically diverse organisation and across a continuum of care.The role of **Salesforce Devops Engineer** is to oversee and manage the release lifecycle for Salesforce solutions, ensuring smooth deployments, adherence to best practices, and minimal disruption to business operations. This includes coordinating development, testing, and production releases, managing environments, and overseeing robust release governance processes.***This is a permanent position, based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.*****What we can offer you**We care about your wellbeing at HammondCare and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including:* NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free)* Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave* Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements* Discounts on everyday products and services* Discounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families* Free access to independent counselling support for employees and families* Health & Wellbeing programmes* Reward & Recognition programmes* Referral bonuses* Career and professional development opportunities**Key Responsibilities include*** Plan and manage release schedules for Salesforce applications.* Coordinate with the technical and business teams to ensure release readiness.* Monitor and optimise release processes for efficiency and compliance, maintaining deployment pipelines and enforce governance standards.* Manage environment strategy (refreshes, data seeding, access control).* Ensure documentation and audit compliance for all releases.* Troubleshoot deployment issues and implement rollback strategies when needed.* Engage with all Agile Ceremonies within a release cycle to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code, utilising Jira, Service Now, devops and test automation tools as available.* Able to Peer review development work completed by internal team and delivery partners, adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development.* At busy times may also be asked to support development in Salesforce.* Integrating and maintaining devops applications within our Salesforce Platform Stack* Collaborate with other IT disciplines, stakeholders and partners as required.* Available for on-call rosters taking turns to provide after-hours on-call support by best effort.* Support the Business Champions, Salesforce Administrators, System Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Technical Lead, Technical Architect, and partner consultants in any capacity required as needed when working as part of the team.**About you**Essential/Mandatory:* Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II* 4 years minimum working in Salesforce Development/Release Management* Expertise in Salesforce DevOps tools (CLI, Gearset, GitHub, Jira)* Experience with Salesforce Release Management and DevOps tools* Experience specifically with Omni studio/Velocity deployments* Strong knowledge of Salesforce metadata and deployment mechanisms* Advanced Salesforce Development and integration experience and capabilities* Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).* High level communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well to solve problems within a team* Able to work independently and as part of a team* A willingness to learn and continue to grow your skills in this role and as a Salesforce ProfessionalDesirable:* Certification or Experience in Health Cloud* Experience in the Aged Care, Health Sector or Non-profit organisation* Some competency in HTML, CSS, SQL, Javascript, REST and SOAP-based web services* Java, C++, .NET or other Object-Oriented programming experience is a bonus point* Contribution to open-source projects or personal projects in a good state of development**To Apply**If you are ready to make a difference with HammondCare, Apply Now!
