Job Description Thompson Building Associates is a 45+ year, locally owned restoration company serving Central Ohio. We compete directly with large national franchises — and we win — because of speed, professionalism, and trusted relationships.

We are not looking for a “marketing rep.”

We are hiring a

Business Development professional

whose primary responsibility is driving revenue growth through strategic relationship development and new customer acquisition.

This is a performance-based role inside an EOS-driven organization with high expectations and high accountability.

What You Will Do

Proactively build and manage a pipeline of referral partners (plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, commercial contacts, etc.)

Generate new business through consistent outreach, in-person meetings, and strategic follow-up

Pursue emergency response opportunities and represent the company professionally in time-sensitive situations

Strengthen and expand existing relationships while consistently adding new ones

Track activity, manage territory, and report performance metrics weekly

Collaborate with operations, estimating, and leadership to ensure alignment between sales promises and production execution

This is not a passive account management role.

You are expected to create opportunity — not wait for it.

Requirements

Experience in B2B sales or business development

Strong communication and presentation skills

Willingness to work flexible hours when emergency opportunities arise

Ability to operate independently while aligned with company objectives

Clean driving record
