R-2025-63# **Job Summary**The Director, Business Development Marketing leads the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing initiatives that support the firm’s growth, recruiting, and financial professional acquisition efforts. Working closely with Business Development leadership, this role connects business development priorities with marketing strategy to deliver targeted messaging, campaigns, and experiences that strengthen the firm’s value proposition and drive engagement with prospective and existing financial professionals.
This position provides leadership and direction to the Business Development Marketing team, oversees marketing plans and budgets, and partners cross-functionally to ensure marketing initiatives effectively support recruiting, retention, and long-term growth objectives. The Director also evaluates marketing performance, identifies opportunities to improve processes and outcomes, and serves as a strategic advisor on messaging, positioning, and marketing effectiveness.
This position will include people-leader responsibilities, including coaching, performance management, and HR-related duties in alignment with company standards.# **Key Deliverables and Responsibilities*** Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that support recruiting, financial professional acquisition, and firm growth initiatives.* Partner with Business Development leadership, recruiters, and cross-functional teams to translate growth priorities into effective marketing programs, messaging, and tools.* Develop and manage annual marketing plans and budgets aligned with business development objectives and firm growth strategies.* Provide leadership and direction to the Business Development Marketing team, setting priorities, managing workflow, and supporting associate development through coaching and feedback.* Measure, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.* Lead strategic initiatives to enhance marketing effectiveness, processes, service standards, and overall support for business development efforts.* Oversee the planning and marketing support for recruiting and business development events, including Cambridge-sponsored events and growth-focused initiatives.* Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on business development marketing, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to advance firm growth objectives.# **What We Are Looking For**The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative marketing leader who can translate business development priorities into impactful marketing strategies that support recruiting, growth, and financial professional engagement. This individual brings strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills, along with the ability to partner across teams, drive marketing effectiveness, and lead initiatives that strengthen the firm’s value proposition and growth objectives.**Certifications:*** Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 99 is required within12 months.**Salary Range:** $100,000 - $130,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the company’s operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location.
