Senior Consultant - Marketing & Public Sector Pursuits Lead
Texas Full-Time About the Role
Pyxis is seeking a strategic, collaborative professional to lead marketing initiatives and end-to-end public sector pursuits. You’ll strengthen Pyxis’ brand, shape compelling client messaging, create visually engaging materials, and drive RFP, RFI, and procurement responses across government opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Lead marketing initiatives that enhance organizational growth, brand visibility, and client engagement. Develop messaging, content, and collateral that clearly communicate capabilities and differentiators. Design and produce visually compelling materials, including presentations, graphics, and digital content, ensuring consistent, high-quality branding across all marketing and pursuit assets. Lead pursuit efforts, including proposal strategy, win themes, and high-quality submissions. Interpret solicitation requirements and coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams to ensure deadlines are met. Collaborate with the Growth Strategy team to refine pursuit processes and improve efficiency. Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to translate complex services into client-focused messaging. Capture lessons learned and continuously improve marketing and pursuit processes. Required Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience driving marketing initiatives and supporting proposals and pursuits in a consulting, professional services, or advisory environment. Proven ability to craft client-focused messaging and effectively position capabilities and differentiators. Experience designing marketing or proposal materials, including presentations, graphics, and digital content. Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with solid project management and organizational abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, build alignment, and influence outcomes without formal authority. Preferred Experience
Experience supporting proposals and pursuits for state, local, and/or federal government clients. Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and proposal development practices. Background in public sector or government consulting environments. What We’re Looking For
