Proposal & Pursuit Manager
to serve as a cornerstone of our work acquisition strategy. Based at our headquarters in
Smyrna, GA , you will lead the full pursuit lifecycle for complex, large-scale infrastructure projects that define the Southeast’s landscape. This is a leadership-heavy role designed for a strategic storyteller. You will collaborate directly with Executive Leadership and Operations to translate technical engineering feats into compelling narratives for
Design-Build, CMAR, and traditional pursuits. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lead Pursuits:
Manage the full proposal lifecycle—from kickoff and capture planning to final submission and award. Create Compelling Content:
Write and edit persuasive, client-focused narratives for proposals, SOQs, and award submissions. Interview Coaching:
Lead shortlist presentation development and coach teams for high-stakes client interviews. Brand Management:
Design and update proposal and interview templates, infographics and other visual communication within brand standards. Data & Compliance:
Maintain Unanet CRM records, project resumes, and proposal libraries to ensure quality and compliance. Strategic Support:
Assist in shaping overall internal and external marketing strategy. Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
5+ years of A/E/C marketing experience; 2+ years of dedicated pursuit/proposal strategy. Market Knowledge:
Proven track record in Heavy Civil construction; Water/Wastewater experience highly preferred. Technical Proficiency:
Advanced Adobe InDesign (Creative Cloud) skills are a mandatory requirement for this role. Systems:
Proficiency or familiarity with Unanet CRM and OpenAsset. Writing:
Ability to demonstrate “Win Theme” development and strategic storytelling (portfolio samples may be requested). Logistics:
This is a 100% on-site leadership position at our Smyrna, GA headquarters. Education:
