Job Description
Seeking a highly experienced delivery Program Manager/Director to lead and oversee delivery of IOT&DE Connected Plant projects across the Americas region. This role spans IT OT convergence, UNS, MES, Smart Factory, Digital Transformation, Assessments, AI/GenAI/Agentic AI, Digital Twin, and Factory of the Future programs for large enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will ensure successful delivery of complex, multi-million-dollar programs, manage customer expectations, and drive innovation in manufacturing operations proactively through the execution of existing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of Smart Factory and Connected Plant projects/programs for large customers, ensuring scope, schedule, customer satisfaction, and budget adherence.
- Define and execute projects/program governance, risk management, and escalation frameworks.
- Drive Smart Factory project delivery, including robotics, physical automation, reference architecture, and digital tool implementation.
Customer Engagement & Communication
- Act as the primary customer interface, managing expectations, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for solution design and delivery.
- Build trusted relationships with C‑level stakeholders and plant leadership.
- Be the liaison of onsite team/customer and offshore team.
Technical & Advisory Expertise
- Provide thought leadership on MES, IoT platforms, Digital Twins, AI/GenAI, and Agentic AI for manufacturing.
- Guide architecture decisions for PLM–MES–ERP integration, OT connectivity, and data pipelines.
- Proactively and continuously identify improvement opportunities on execution and additionally advise on smart factory opportunities, roadmap development, and operational excellence during execution of the projects/programs.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead cross‑functional teams (solution architects, engineers, consultants) across multiple geographies.
- Manage relationship with service division of partner ecosystem and vendor engagements for technology platforms and automation solutions.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Champion AI‑driven opportunities such as predictive analytics, autonomous operations, and manufacturing digital thread.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISA‑95, ISA‑88, ISO) and regulatory requirements.
Must‑Have Skills
- Strong experience in manufacturing operations, smart factory projects/programs and IT/OT and digital transformation.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale Smart Factory programs for global customers.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, MES, robotics, and automation.
- Preferably hands‑on experience with IoT platforms, MES, Digital Twin, AI/GenAI.
- Strong knowledge of IT integration (PLM–MES–ERP) and shop‑floor connectivity.
- Exceptional program management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Expertise in risk management, governance, and financial control for large programs.
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma.
- Vendor certifications in MES/IoT platforms, etc.
Success Metrics
- On‑time, on‑budget delivery of programs.
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
- Operational KPIs: OEE, FPY, downtime reduction, automation ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in engineering/ master’s in engineering / master’s in computer science
Salary Range: $190,000 - $210,000 a year
