Position Summary
CMC Hotels is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Area Director of Sales to lead and execute revenue generation strategies across a portfolio of hotels. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving top-line revenue performance, market share growth, and brand positioning while developing high-performing sales teams.
The ideal candidate is a strong revenue strategist, relationship builder, and coach who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about achieving measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic sales leadership for multiple hotel properties within the assigned portfolio.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing plans to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with General Managers and Revenue Management to align pricing and positioning strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop cluster Sales Manager(s) and property sales teams to achieve performance goals.
- Drive corporate, group, and transient business through proactive prospecting and relationship management.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, community partners, and brand representatives.
- Ensure brand sales standards and reporting requirements are consistently met.
- Prepare and present monthly sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Oversee and manage quarterly incentive plan performance and accountability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive hotel sales leadership experience (multi-property experience preferred).
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of brand systems, market analysis, and revenue strategy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned portfolio as needed.
- Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt brand experience preferred.
