We are a multi-entity organization seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Information Technology to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for leading all aspects of IT across the enterprise, ensuring our technology infrastructure supports operational excellence, security, and long‑term business objectives. The Director of IT will oversee systems architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and IT operations, while establishing policies, procedures, budgets, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps aligned with regulatory requirements and business strategy. This leader will also monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to inform both short‑ and long‑range IT planning. This position supervises the IT team and serves as a key advisor to senior leadership on technology strategy and risk management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the IT team to effectively support evolving business needs
- Develop and execute a cohesive, enterprise‑wide IT strategy
- Evaluate IT infrastructure and system performance, assessing operating costs, productivity, and upgrade requirements
- Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity programs to mitigate risk and minimize system downtime
- Oversee the security of systems, networks, and enterprise data
- Direct system evaluations, implementations, and major technology initiatives
- Ensure IT compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements
- Oversee internal and external audits, including transaction testing and controls validation
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure integrity in all IT governance practices
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of IT leadership experience within a multi‑site organization
- Demonstrated success migrating legacy systems and processes to unified cloud environments
- Strong ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, IT staff, and end users
- Experience operating in a dynamic environment
- Highly dependable, detail‑oriented, and collaborative, with strong interpersonal skills
