
Corporate Paralegal

Lewis Rice LLC, a large St. Louis law firm, has an opening for a Corporate Paralegal. This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. A minimum of five to eight years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred. The hours of this position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position offers an excellent salary commensurate with experience and an excellent comprehensive benefits package including major medical plans, 401(k) plan, and paid parking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting attorneys with the preparation of corporate documents and materials
Working directly with attorneys and clients in connection with corporate transactions and closings
Conducting corporate entity and ownership research
Supporting a variety of corporate transactions and mattersPreparing and conducting UCC filings and searches
Navigating Secretary of State offices and other governmental agency procedures
Assisting with other special projects and administrative tasks as needed
Education and Experience Requirements
This position requires an undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
A minimum of five to eight years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
Knowledge of corporate legal principles
Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and third parties
Ability to utilize technology resources to support clients and attorneys
Experience with Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Outlook required
