Summary:
Alliance Corporation is seeking an experiencedConstruction Superintendent in Eastern Kentuckyto oversee daily operations on construction projects, with a primary focus onK-12 school construction. This position is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality work on site. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day construction activities on the job site Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and Alliance field employees Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Monitor project schedules and assist with cost control Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure work is completed correctly Track daily project progress and communicate updates to project managers and clients Lead jobsite meetings focused on schedule, safety, and coordination Assist in determining manpower needs and scheduling field personnel Qualifications:
3–5+ years of construction supervision or related field experience Experience managing subcontractors and jobsite coordination Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver’s license required, must be able to pass background check requirements. Must be able to pass required drug screening. OSHA-30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) This role involves working on active construction sites and may require standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
