
Portfolio Management Analyst

A leading U.S. energy storage developer and operator is seeking an Analyst, Project Finance & Portfolio Management to join its Finance & Capital Markets / Portfolio Management team.
The company develops, constructs, and operates large-scale battery energy storage assets across U.S. wholesale power markets and is backed by a major global infrastructure investor. With ~1.4 GW operating or under construction and a 12+ GW development pipeline, the platform is one of the most active players in the rapidly growing energy storage sector.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain project finance financial models, including construction and operating debt cash flows
Support project financings, loan draws, and funding mechanics across active assets
Perform DSCR, liquidity, and covenant compliance analysis
Assist with lender reporting, compliance certificates, and financing documentation
Support portfolio-level financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and performance tracking
Collaborate with internal teams including Legal, Accounting, Asset Management, and Origination
Help improve financial models, reporting processes, and internal analytics tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in
renewable energy, infrastructure, or power project finance
Experience building or working with
project finance financial models
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred
Experience with
battery storage or utility-scale solar
projects
Exposure to
tax equity structures (partnership flip / back leverage)
Familiarity with
loan draws, covenant compliance, or project finance closings
Background at a
developer, IPP, infrastructure fund, advisory firm, or project finance lender
