Development Specialist

JOB OBJECTIVE

To receive, review and process all private development applications and related documentation for proposed development projects; answers questions, provides information, and resolves issues throughout the completion of development projects and ensures compliance with all applicable ordinances, policies and procedures. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. For a complete list of essential job functions, please click HERE. These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related area; two (2) years of demonstrated experience in project management or leadership of a work project or a related area, and one (1) year of computer experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position. DISCLAIMER
