The Infrastructure Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth within the water and wastewater infrastructure market. This role focuses on developing relationships with engineers, contractors, distributors, and project owners to position innovative piping solutions that improve project efficiency, safety, and cost performance. You will manage projects from early design through project completion, educating customers on product value and helping them successfully implement solutions that keep projects on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities

Become the Product and Industry Expert

Learn the Products

Gain in-depth knowledge of our client\'s piping and mechanical joining solutions and understand how they solve real-world construction challenges. Through a comprehensive training program, you will learn how these solutions improve installation speed, safety, and overall project performance. Know the Industry

Develop expertise in the water and wastewater construction markets, including: Grooved mechanical pipe joining methods Traditional joining methods such as welding and flanging Market trends and competitive solutions Construction cycles and infrastructure development You will identify and track key projects including new construction, expansions, and retrofit opportunities throughout your territory. Participation in industry associations and trade organizations will help establish your presence as a trusted industry resource. Manage the Sales Process

Partner with your Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute a strategic territory plan that includes: Opportunity mapping and project tracking Sales growth targets Product promotion strategies You will lead the full project lifecycle including: Project identification and pursuit Engineering and specification development Quotation and pricing coordination Bid support and contractor engagement Jobsite training and installation support Project commissioning and post-sale follow-up This role requires close coordination with inside sales, engineering, and technical support teams to ensure successful project execution. Build Strong Customer Relationships

Relationship development is a critical component of success in this role. You will cultivate long-term partnerships with: Mechanical contractors Municipalities and project owners Distributors and channel partners You will maintain regular in-person contact with customers and represent the company at industry events, job sites, and social engagements. These interactions help build trust and position you as a valued partner in project success. Educate and Influence the Market

A key part of this role is educating customers on the value of modern piping technologies. Your daily activities may include: Jobsite demonstrations and installation training Contractor tool demonstrations Technical presentations and “Lunch & Learn” sessions for engineers Project consultations with design teams By helping customers understand the performance, cost, and schedule advantages of these solutions, you will influence key decision-makers and maximize project adoption. Qualifications

Experience

Proven outside sales experience with value-added products or solutions Must have experience in commercial construction, infrastructure, or the PVF industry (Pipes, Valves, and Fittings) is highly desirable Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and grow a sales territory Candidates from other industries with strong sales backgrounds are also encouraged to apply, as a comprehensive training program is provided.
