Construction Superintendent

A company in the Phoenix area is looking for a Construction Superintendent to join their team. As Superintendent, you’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader overseeing daily site operations, managing field staff and subcontractors, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring the project stays on schedule.
Responsibilities
Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and laborers
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures Maintain and update project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager
Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings
Inspect work for quality assurance and adherence to plans/specs
Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers to resolve field issues
Maintain detailed site logs and project documentation
Represent the company professionally with owners, inspectors, and third parties
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
Proven experience with restaurant builds
Strong leadership and communication skills
Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and safety practices
Proficiency in field documentation, scheduling, and site coordination
Familiarity with project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)
