Job Summary The sales engineer will be a vital part of the business development process. Their job is to assist in the development of new and continuing business. This may include tasks such as prospecting, responding to inbound requests, developing detailed quote packages for customers, and building customer relationships. The job will be located at Corporate HQ in Holyoke, MA.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responding to inbound web‑leads with customer outreach
Develop pipeline of sales through Universal CRM tool (Hubspot)
Propose pricing and process suggestions for customer product builds, using thermoforming (vacuum or pressure), routing, painting, hardware addition, and packaging
Work with manufacturing and field sales to develop customer proposals
Push growth with trade show leads, existing customers, and new prospects
Determine profitable pricing strategy in line with company financial objectives
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent sales, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Engineering mindset.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience using drawing software or interpreting professional engineering drawings, such as SolidWorks.
Persistence, creativity, and resiliency to manage stressful customer interactions.
Familiarity or openness to learn current business development tools, including LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Hubspot.
Education and Experience
BS in Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Plastics, Chemical preferred)
Five years of engineering and/or sales experience
