RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist service technicians and advisors in identifying and locating correct OEM Kia parts.

Use Kia EPC and dealership management systems to research part numbers and availability.

Maintain a fast and accurate internal parts counter to support technician efficiency.

Assist retail and wholesale customers at the front counter and by phone.

Process parts invoices, special orders, and returns according to dealership procedures.

Ensure proper documentation for warranty parts retention and returns.

Maintain organized inventory and clean parts counter work area.

Monitor and communicate backordered parts and ETA updates to advisors and technicians.

Assist with stock orders and bin location accuracy.

Participate in cycle counts and inventory control procedures.

Support dealership policies for loss prevention and inventory accuracy.

Assist with receiving and stocking parts shipments.

Work closely with the service department to ensure repair orders are completed efficiently.

Maintain knowledge of Kia parts updates, supersessions, and recalls.

Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction and dealership performance standards.

REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous automotive parts experience preferred (Kia experience a plus).

Strong knowledge of automotive parts systems and terminology.

Experience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, etc.) preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced service department environment.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around warehouse shelving.
