Sr. Account Executive; O500 (Hybrid/Charlotte)

As a Sr. Strategic Account Executive, you serve as a trusted partner to large, complex organizations, helping them navigate business challenges while delivering meaningful value to their employees and customers. In this role, you build deep, long-term relationships, provide strategic insight, and drive growth by aligning client needs with innovative health and wellness solutions. You are energized by face-to-face engagement, confident in financial discussions, and motivated by creating exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

Build and sustain strong, consultative relationships with senior decision-makers and key influencers across assigned accounts.

Act as a strategic advisor by deeply understanding each client’s business, industry dynamics, and long-term objectives.

Lead renewal and growth strategies by presenting data-driven insights, negotiating rate actions, and identifying opportunities to expand solutions and services.

Drive portfolio performance by delivering growth, retention, and earnings outcomes across a book of large employer clients.

Apply financial and underwriting knowledge to help clients manage costs while maximizing the value of offered solutions.

Collaborate closely with underwriting, client management, and internal partners to deliver aligned, seamless client solutions.

Proactively address client needs by overseeing service delivery, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience.

Leverage market and industry trends to help clients stay competitive and informed, positioning solutions that meet evolving needs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in client management, account management, or sales within health benefits, insurance, or a related industry.

Proven experience managing large, complex employer accounts, including renewal strategy and growth discussions.

Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data, understand underwriting concepts, and communicate value effectively.

Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex organizational environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience working with employers of 500+ employees.

Background in sales, underwriting, operations, or client consulting within healthcare or benefits.
