
Account Executive - IT Consulting
VRIZE, Dallas, TX, United States
This is a revenue-carrying, client-facing sales role responsible for acquiring new business for VRIZE’s technology consulting services.
The Account Executive owns the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and contract close. You will work directly with business and technology stakeholders to understand their challenges and position VRIZE consulting and engineering teams as solutions.
This role focuses on building a book of business, developing long-term client relationships, and expanding consulting engagements across accounts.
Work Mode: Hybrid - 3 days on-site (Plano/Frisco)
Compensation & Growth
Commission: 4% on net new client services revenue
Uncapped earnings based on closed business and account expansion
Growth path toward Senior Account Executive, Client Partner, or sales leadership as the U.S. team expands
What You’ll Do
Develop and manage a territory of target accounts
Lead discovery conversations with business and technical stakeholders
Identify client needs and align consulting and engineering solutions
Coordinate with delivery and technical teams to scope engagements
Prepare proposals, pricing, and statements of work
Negotiate and close new consulting contracts
Maintain pipeline forecasting and activity tracking in CRM
Build relationships with Directors, VPs, CIOs, and technology leaders
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of B2B sales experience (IT services, consulting, staffing, or software)
Comfort and willingness to learn new tech including AI
Experience managing opportunities through proposal and close
Ability to run discovery conversations and build client relationships
Strong follow-up discipline and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a performance-based compensation environment
Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM tools (Salesforce/HubSpot)
