IMMEDIATELY HIRING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE ! FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY. Medical Billing Knowledge Required. Candidate will serve Maricopa & Pinal County, AZ. Candidate will need to live in Maricopa or Pinal County, AZ. Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 DOE. This Account Executive position at American Medical Response will serve as the core for our driving force to enhance customer relationships and a liaison supporting our operational team. This position is responsible for driving new business, ensuring positive client relations, maintaining high customer service standards, and growing relationships with operational partners. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: This is a hybrid outside sales and billing liaison position that is best suited for someone that enjoys customer service, building long-term relationships, being active in the community, and is highly visible within their assigned territory. Must have working knowledge and experience of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, PPO, HMO insurances to include regulations and billing guidelines. A successful candidate should have a strong attention to detail, have effective communication skills and be comfortable calling / inquiring regarding medical billing practices. Knowledgeable on medical terminology, coding practices, insurance denials, and accounts receivable. This position will work heavily within non-emergent (interfacility) claims coordinating with various healthcare systems. Initially, there will be a great deal of training involved. We want this person to understand the solutions they represent and our ability to deliver on the needs of each customer. Generating / sustaining leads for current and new business through actions like: Utilizing customer and professional referrals Working relationships with healthcare systems, healthcare payors, market stakeholders Community involvement Collaborating with leadership on marketing programs Participating in community networking events to draw in prospects Cold calling Completing the full sales cycle from introduction and discovery to needs analysis, proposal creation, closure, and ongoing follow up and management of accounts Initiate and maintain routine contacts (visits, calls, mailings) to existing clients to ensure smooth working relationships Build rapport with healthcare systems, Operations, and Business Development throughout Maricopa County Educate internal and external stakeholders on billing practices while showcasing the benefits of American Medical Response Create a structured plan that encompasses current, quarterly, and annual objectives Analyze methods to enhance business and identify areas for improvement to drive customer and operational satisfaction Provide prompt and thorough responses to customer inquiries and document these encounters Qualifications: Education & Related Work Experience High School Diploma; prefer some college or specialty training in medical billing or equivalent job relevant experience. Working knowledge and experience of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, PPO, HMO insurances to include regulations and billing guidelines. Skills Strong customer service background 3+ years’ experience with healthcare billing, accounts receivables, claims, etc. Previous outside sales experience preferred Strong communication and follow-up skills are a must, along with solid computer skills. Licenses, Registrations or Certifications Valid state drivers' license. Medical billing / coding certificate preferred Why Choose GMR?
