Sunnyside is seeking an experienced Associate Marketing Manager who will be responsible for managing products through the ecommerce lifecycle, supporting promotions and marketing for the designated region. The product ecommerce life cycle includes multi-system entry and listing management, configurations on the company website, and reconciliation of catalog inventory. As part of the regional marketing team, this position will support brand awareness and promotions for the Sunnyside Florida and Illinois markets. This position will work closely with cross-functional partners across retail operations, compliance, marketing, and other relevant departments to meet regional needs and deliver results. CORE JOB DUTIES
Support regional marketing campaigns including regional promotions and loyalty programs, brand-building campaigns, new store openings and wholesale brand launches. Provide input and brand expertise in developing the promotions and loyalty activation calendar with key stakeholders. Manage internal and external agency and design partner relationships in service of the development and execution of all brand communications and integrated marketing campaigns across all channels. Assist with regional email and text marketing. Includes editing, proofing, scheduling, and sending email and text campaigns. Support equity marketing initiatives, PR, promotions, 3rd party marketplace strategies and paid media campaigns. Conduct data analysis to assist in measuring effectiveness of marketing and promotional spend. Manage creation and ongoing maintenance of all Products and Strains on Secure Portal including product descriptions, technical data, product features, product imagery, and other attributes. Manage and maintenance of all Products in point-of-sale system including product attributes, technical data, and price points. Execute upon the Standard Operating processes for in-house portal SKU governance process. Work with store managers to ensure timely processing of New Products. Audit Sunnyside.Shop eCommerce site to verify and ensure that product information is properly displayed and presented. Work with Strategy & Analytics team to ensure everyday pricing architecture is accurately displayed on eCommerce site and troubleshoot accordingly. Execute product promotional strategies in Secure Portal and POS. Communicate to Retail and Customer Service Teams all product promotions including Standard Operating Procedures for processing, marketing, and operational assets. Execute new product launches in POS with applicable product information sheets and COA’s. Manage and maintain product/ promotional collateral on Retail SharePoint to ensure visibility for all stakeholders. Create, manage and maintain user access and new store setup on various technology platforms and systems. Collaborate with Cresco/Wholesale eCommerce Catalog Specialist to ensure harmonized product information, driving consistency across all product groups. Troubleshoot and escalate Portal/POS issues to identify and implement timely resolutions. Monitor product listings for accuracy and functionality. Other duties as assigned by manager. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
3 plus year’s relevant experience in one or combined fields: Marketing or ECommerce Previous experience with Product Information Management and/or Content Management Strong troubleshooting skills including reading knowledge bases, reviewing guides, checking forums, reading FAQs, and opening cases or calling support Superior analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Tableau Highly organized, motivated and works well independently and in a team environment Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing technical aspects to people with various backgrounds and management levels Possesses strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong analytical skills and experience making fact-based decisions with data. Strong cannabis product knowledge preferred, plus a proactive willingness to learn more about the industry as it grows and evolves Must be comfortable developing a strong understanding of and complying with all cannabis laws, rules and regulations BENEFITS
