About The Role The Graphic Designer will be a pivotal member of the FREDERIC media team, helping to lead the visual direction and brand expression of FREDERIC across all touchpoints. This role requires a high‑level creative thinker who combines aesthetic excellence with strategic clarity and hands‑on execution. The ideal candidate is a lover of beauty with a deep passion for imagery, is a master visual storyteller and deeply passionate about the worlds of interior design, luxury fashion, editorial design, and culture.
You will work with the Art Director on ideation, design, and production of editorial layouts, print and sales materials, digital assets, social content— ensuring that every visual output reinforces the essence of FREDERIC’s creativity and brand voice.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Frederic Art Director and editorial team to create, design, and produce editorial layouts for each issue of FREDERIC magazine and future FREDERIC media books.
Help concept and execute high‑impact brand‑aligned creative for print and web, including sales collateral, invites, stationery, packaging, and beyond.
Work closely with the FREDERIC Art Director to manage image retouching and organization.
Ensure the quality across all design deliverables, including digital files and print materials, is up to standard.
Help manage vendor relationships for print and production.
Design and produce still and movement graphic work for fredericmedia.com and social media.
Maintain templates, design libraries and asset archives.
Requirements
2‑4 years of experience in editorial layout design, graphic design, or branding—preferably in the luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or design space.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a refined aesthetic, storytelling ability, and brand leadership.
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom); familiarity with Figma, After Effects, and other platforms a plus.
Deep understanding of typography, layout, composition, and color theory.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Able to balance hands‑on design execution with high‑level creative thinking.
Strong knowledge of both digital and print production processes.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Deep understanding of the luxury consumer mindset and brand alignment strategy.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
Proven ability to multi‑task successfully and prioritize work.
Display a track record of dependability.
Represent the company positively through manners and actions.
Ability to work with others and be a team player.
